Join writing guru Steve Padilla, editor of the Los Angeles Times’ showcase feature Column One, for a webinar with writing tips you’ll use forever.
The workshop, to be held Saturday, June 6, over Zoom, is sponsored by the California Chicano News Media Association, which has been fostering the careers of Latino journalists for 48 years. The session is open to all and free, though donations to support CCNMA’s mission are encouraged.
The hour-long workshop, the third by Steve in a series sponsored by CCNMA, will be devoted to your questions. Steve, who tweets on writing as @StevePadilla2, notes that his tips are not designed for beginners or bad writers. They are the tricks he uses every day, and they work for long-term narratives as well a quick dailies for the web.
In response to interest from Asia, the workshop will be held in the evening in California, so writers in Asia can tune in the next morning.
The workshop will be held Saturday, June 6 at 6 p.m. Pacific Time. That’s 9 a.m., Singapore time, June 7. Call-in information will be in Eventbrite confirmation email.
